“The Dan-Dan Japanese book is interesting and well written. It is chockablock with fun and colourful explanatory activities, which teach young children all they want to learn about the Japanese language. Throughout the book there are stories about real people and the time they spent in Japan and what they learnt. The book is set out to interest children and make learning Japanese really fun and I think it does that with all the colourful pictures and interesting facts about Japan”.

"Students love the vibrant and cute illustrations on the flashcards. The font of the words is large, clear and easy to read which make them useful for whole class reading practice, activities and games. As a language teacher, we all know good flashcards are time-consuming to make and very expensive to print in colour, so these flashcards are certainly the most economical and well-used resource I have purchased all year!"

The workbook is easy to use and provides a wide variety of activities for the students to complete.
They are well presented and set out with an easy to follow approach. I really found the booklet very useful as there is
nothing currently available in Japanese teaching resources which provide such a variety of activities for students.
I highly recommend this work book to Japanese language teachers.

"I was taught by Toriyabe Sensei and Bailey Sensei since Grade Nine and found their teaching style and resources very easy to understand and to use. The sentence structure explanations are clear and easy to understand, and the examples and exercises that follow allow you to apply the new material across a wide range of real world situations. The kanji and vocabulary also come up at relevant times and the tasks throughout the units allow you to practise them constantly and become confident with using them.
My time studying Japanese was the highlight of my schooling as it was not only fun, but challenged me and gave me an insight into Japanese culture. The resources used undoubtedly helped my achieve a VHA10 at Senior Exit and prepared me very well for Japanese at University level. I have found that I can easily understand the higher level material much more readily than others. I would highly recommend Dan-Dan Japanese to any student or teacher."

What a fantastic resource and guide to teaching the Japanese language, making it easy and fun to learn! The Dan-Dan Japanese textbook is a great way to engage students with its modern font, great icons and graphics, and its easy and logical lesson and unit layout. Using this text in my class has taken the pressure off the everyday demands of teaching, allowing me the scope to expand and explore the topics whilst catering for the needs of my individual classes and students.
